The training was an offshoot of the planned activities that were stipulated in the memorandum of understanding. The agreement was signed on July 16 this year between the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) and VSU as the partner State Universities and Colleges (SUC).

Project activities started with on-site inspections, iSchools stakeholders’ sustainability planning workshops and web development trainings to public high school teachers and students of identified iSchools.

“We continue to be of service to our iSchools project beneficiaries even if the project funding ends to ensure sustainability,” said ICT Coordinator Prof. Winston M. Tabada, head of the Department of Computer Science at VSU.
